If you believe your Mac to have a hardware problem, Fix My Mac can diagnose the problem and provide an estimate for repair.

Hardware Fault Diagnosis will cost you £40. *

This sum will be deducted from your final bill if you decide to proceed with the repair. The actual repair will then be charged at the relevant hourly / subsequent time rates.

* Includes travelling up to 20 miles. £1 per mile will be charged for each mile over 20. You are welcome to bring your Mac in for Diagnosis.

Hourly Rates

The First Hour of support provided will be charged at £60*. Applicable to both on and off-site calls.

Subsequent time will be charged at £30 per half hour .

These rates will apply to General and Software related issues and also to repairs carried out following a Hardware Fault Diagnosis. Cost will always be discussed prior to any work being done. Minimum charge £60.

Data Recovery

If you require data recovery please make contact at the earliest possible time and DO NOT use your Mac unless it is essential that you do so. Every second of use will lower the chances of recovering the data.

The cost of this service will be agreed after an initial assessment carried out for a fee of £40.
